👀🇧🇷 Residents of Rio de Janeiro will be able to pay taxes using cryptocurrencies
The authorities of Rio de Janeiro are launching a new initiative that will allow residents of Rio to pay property taxes in cryptocurrencies by 2023.
There are no details yet, but it is likely that the city will be paid in stablecoins, as the Rio authorities plan to “receive 100% of the value of cryptocurrency payments in fiat at no additional cost to the mayor’s office.”
