đź‘€Switzerland introduces ID verification for crypto transactions over $1005
The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority has revised anti-money laundering regulations to include digital assets.
Citizens of the country will have to verify their identity when carrying out cryptocurrency transactions in the amount of more than 1,000 Swiss francs, which is equivalent to $1,005, within 30 days.
The new requirements will come into effect from January 2023.
